Exploring the Community Allocation Plan for Pi Network: Understanding the Distribution of Mining Rewards

Pi Network, a decentralized cryptocurrency, has recently announced its community allocation plan for mining rewards. The total projected supply of Pi is 80 billion coins, with a significant portion of these coins being allocated for mining rewards.

Pre-mainnet mining rewards will account for approximately 20 billion Pi. These rewards will be given to the pioneers who have been mining Pi before the launch of the mainnet. The rough sum of all Pi mined by all Pioneers so far (before Mainnet) is about 30 billion Pi. However, after discarding Pi mined by fake accounts and depending on the speed and participation of KYC, the pre-mainnet mined Pi at the beginning of the Open Network can be estimated to range from 10 to 20 billion.

Mainnet mining rewards will account for approximately 45 billion Pi. These rewards will be distributed to Pioneers through the new Mainnet mining mechanism with conceptual yearly supply limits. The mainnet mining rewards will be given to the pioneers who will continue to mine Pi on the mainnet after its launch.

A liquidity pool reserve of approximately 5 billion Pi will be allocated to ensure the liquidity of Pi on the various exchanges where it will be listed. This reserve will be used to buy Pi from the market and add it to the liquidity pool, making it easier for users to buy and sell Pi.

The Foundation reserve, approximately 10 billion Pi, will be used for grants, community events, and other initiatives that support the growth and development of the Pi Network. This reserve will be used to fund projects and initiatives that will benefit the Pi community and help to drive adoption of the cryptocurrency.

In summary, 65 Billion Pi will be allocated for all mining rewards-both past and future mining. The Pi Network's community allocation plan is designed to ensure a fair distribution of coins among all participants and to support the growth and development of the Pi community. The allocation plan is subject to change as the project develops and new information becomes available.
